The University of Luxembourg Competence Centre is the lifelong training and continuing professional education centre based in Esch-sur-Alzette. Our mission is to develop and organise high quality training programmes that meet the business needs and requirements of the Luxembourg market while using innovative teaching tools and technologies. We are working in close relationship with the University of Luxembourg and key actors in a broad range of activities.

In order to reinforce our team and support the development of our activities, we are looking for an

Assistant Project Manager (m/f)
for a permanent full time contract

This role sits within the University Training Cluster team, composed of 4 people including one Project Manager and three Assistant Project Manager.

Our purpose is to develop and implement training activities with and for the University of Luxembourg.

  • Our key responsibilities are:
    • Supporting the L&D function within the organisation in the development and delivery of targeted and strategic learning interventions designed to support the staff of the University
    • Providing lifelong learning study programmes (certificates) in collaboration with faculties and external partners

Your main missions and responsibilities 

  • Involvement in the full training lifecycle including analysing and monitoring training needs, organising, administrating and evaluating courses
  • Planning, executing and following-up on lifelong learning programmes (certificates): programme and student administration
  • Providing assistance with the day-to-day management of all our courses
  • Assist the Project Manager in monitoring external relations appropriately (partners, stakeholders and training participants) and interact with the HR team of the University of Luxembourg
  • Support the Project Manager in her tasks, while ensuring continuous improvement of quality and innovation

Your ideal profile

  • Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree (or equivalent) in HR or similar line of studies and a professional experience of 5 years
  • Work experience of at least 2 years in lifelong learning more specifically training project management
  • Fluent in French and English, excellent writing skills in the mastered languages are required
  • Ability and interest in working in a team and a multicultural environment
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and good project management skills
  • Being able to demonstrate diplomacy and tact
  • Reliability, rigour and autonomy in the work
  • Open-mindedness and flexibility
  • Client-orientation
