The University of Luxembourg Competence Centre is the Luxembourg university continuing education centre. Its purpose is to develop and organise high-quality training programs that meet the business needs and requirements of the Luxembourgish market while using innovative teaching tools and technologies. We are working closely with the University of Luxembourg and key actors in a broad range of activities. In order to reinforce our ICT team and support the development of its activities, we are looking for a:

ICT Project Manager
Full-time contract

Your main responsibilities include to: 

  • Carrying out analyses of skills needs in view of the digital transformation of companies (SMEs) and deriving training and skills development paths in the framework of a consortium funded by the European Commission.
  • Create computer skills training catalogs based on the identification of the skills gap in areas such as coding, data science, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence.
  • Manage training paths with experts, partners, and professors at the University of Luxembourg (or other universities) and ensure a high-quality level with the team.
  • Manage upskilling or reskilling strategic projects such as training programmes and/or MOOCs.
  • Communicate with the various stakeholders and produce the reports.
  • Take part in external events to ensure the ULCC’s promotion and development.
  • Assist the Management in monitoring external relations appropriately (partners, stakeholders, and training participants).

Your ideal profile:

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Information of Technology or Computer Science, Project Management, or a similar line of studies.
  • Work experience of at least 7 years in project management.
  • Understanding the DevOps approach, web development, machine learning, AI, and the digital industry, in general, will be considered an asset.
  • Good knowledge of the Luxembourgish market and of the strategic development axes of the ICT sector in Luxembourg.
  • Strong organisational skills, and ability to prioritise tasks, and manage complex projects.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, comfortable with conducting steering committees and webinars.
  • Reliable, and autonomous while being a team player.
  • Be diplomatic and know how to adapt your communication to your interlocutor.
  • Fluent in English and French, excellent writing skills in the mastered languages are mandatory.
