The University of Luxembourg Competence Centre, in close collaboration with Innovative Initiatives (part of the Ministry of State’s Department of Media, Connectivity and Digital Policy), the Ministry of Education, Children and Youth and the University of Luxembourg announce the launch of the highly anticipated 3rd Luxembourgish edition of the “Elements of AI” international course. This comprehensive combination of online and on-site learning is designed to empower learners with essential knowledge in artificial intelligence (AI) and is now freely available for enrollment.

With the ever-evolving landscape of technology, understanding the fundamental principles of AI has become increasingly crucial. AI provides huge opportunities for growth and competitiveness. The latest edition of “Elements of AI” builds upon the success of its previous editions, offering a dynamic and engaging learning experience that caters to individuals from all backgrounds.

Key features of the 3rd edition include:

  • Exclusive webinars with the University of Luxembourg: Each week, a tailor-made webinar facilitated by a team of experts from different fields of AI application and research will help students stay motivated by providing useful extra information.
  • Face-to-face support groups dedicated to learners in Luxembourg: To enhance the learning experience, the new edition provides spaces of mutual learning through on-site support groups with one of our partners in Luxembourg: WIDE (Women in Digital Empowerment), IFEN (Institut de Formation de l’Éducation Nationale) and the DLH (Digital Learning Hub) allowing learners to apply their knowledge in a hands-on manner.
  • Learn at your own pace: The course is designed to be flexible, allowing participants to complete modules at their own pace. This feature accommodates both full-time professionals and students looking to enhance their skill set.
  •  … but not alone: Join a collaborative community; Luxembourgish participants will gain access to a vibrant online community where they can interact with peers, share insights, and collaborate on projects.

Regardless of activity, age, or background, individuals who are curious about the potential impact of AI on their jobs or lives in the coming years will gain free access to weekly chapters of empowering knowledge. This includes tailor-made webinars with national experts and assistance in study workshops related to the course starting on April 23rd 2024, as well as a certificate of participation offered by the University of Luxembourg and the Competence Centre.
